Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new sales leads and delivering sales qualified leads (SQLs) to Sales Leadership. At Lumana, we rely on data- and analytics-driven metrics to develop and implement consistent, effective lead generation activities. We have built a sales playbook that we believe resonates with our target customers and because we are a constantly learning organization, we depend on our sales team to help us fine-tune as needed. We use Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Outreach to enable effective and efficient sales processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify new sales leads and opportunities with end customers in the physical security market.
  2. Build and A/B test email campaigns that generate new opportunities.
  3. Follow a playbook when reaching out to customers, and help the company improve where necessary.
  4. Turn prospects into sales qualified leads (SQLs) by following the Lumana Playbook.
  5. Schedule qualified customer demo meetings with sales leadership.
  6. Use the Lumana sales tools effectively for documentation, discovery, and sequencing (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Outreach).
  7. Maintain a high level of activity and productivity to achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation goals.
Qualifications
  1. 2+ years in Sales or Business/Sales Development in a B2B technology.
  2. Experience in physical or video security software – highly preferred.
  3. Able to perform intensive outreach and prospecting activities - a must.
  4. Perseverant, not discouraged by rejection - a must.
  5. Experience working remotely with a team - a must.
  6. Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
  7. Passionate, energetic, and self-aware.

Compensation range
  1. Base annualized at $58,000.
  2. Total OTE over $85,000 as there is an accelerator on the variable compensation and no cap.
