Job summary

Jackson + Coker is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead and coach early-career sales professionals within our Sales Development Program. You will partner with leaders to accelerate associate readiness, improve performance, and build a culture centered on accountability, growth, and sales excellence.

You will oversee 8–15 associates, conduct coaching sessions and role plays, and drive development milestones aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
• Proven success coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance improvement.
• Strong background in business development, prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship building.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable coaching strategies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Sales Development Associates, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.
• Manage and support approximately 8–15 associates as they progress through the sales development journey.
• Conduct coaching sessions, call reviews, shadowing activities, role plays, and career development conversations.
• Drive associate readiness, performance, and progression through established development milestones.
• Partner with sales leaders and business stakeholders to align development efforts with organizational objectives.
• Analyze activity, conversion, and productivity data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Create and optimize reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement tools.
• Support performance improvement initiatives through coaching, accountability, and development planning.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements of sales development programs, processes, and training strategies.
