Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a De Soto, KS location. The role combines customer service, purchasing, vendor management, and inventory coordination to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, pay rate $25–$30 per hour.

The ideal candidate will manage stock and non-stock purchases, review forecasts, create requisitions, track orders, and resolve supplier issues while maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• CPM certification preferred.
• 1+ years of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong ERP, inventory management, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for stock and non-stock materials.
• Review inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Create purchase requisitions and issue vendor purchase orders.
• Track orders and coordinate deliveries to meet customer needs.
• Research vendors and recommend cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Process vendor returns and assist with inventory reduction efforts.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Investigate and resolve accounts payable discrepancies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and produce KPI reports.
• Follow company and customer operating procedures and safety requirements.
