Job summary

Cambria College Park Hotel in College Park, MD invites a motivated Sales Coordinator to join its team. You will support the Sales Department, manage inquiries and reservations, and coordinate activities for rooms-only groups.

You may also cover Front Desk duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate brings organization, strong communication, and a hospitality mindset, with experience in sales support or event coordination.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, event planning, hospitality, or related field.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Delphi and Fosse.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Sales Department as assigned.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all rooms-only groups following sales turnover.
• Maintain hotel reader boards displaying in-house meetings and events; update daily.
• Answer telephones, take leads, refer messages, and return calls promptly.
• Manage hotel reservations for the Sales Department as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Assist with communication between Sales and hotel operations.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, guests, and team members.
