Job summary

Northwest Pump is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role will be responsible for equipment order entry for the Petroleum Division, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and delivered promptly.

You will convert customer orders into sales orders using Infor CSD, review order confirmations for accuracy, monitor progress, and collaborate with our outside salesman to provide outstanding service to customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in sales coordination or similar role.
• Excellent ability to engage and communicate with customers and vendors.
• Strong math, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic internet research.
• Ability to work autonomously, and as a team; self-motivated.
• Reliable and dependable with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accurately convert customer orders into sales orders, ensuring all details are captured.
• Enter orders using Infor CSD, supporting a smooth fulfillment process.
• Review and approve order confirmations for accuracy and compliance.
• Proactively monitor orders for on-time delivery and address issues promptly.
• Assist in resolving vendor invoice discrepancies with other departments.
• Work closely with the outside salesman to meet high service standards.
• Foster professional, positive communication with employees, customers, and vendors.
