Job summary

Northwest Pump is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role will be responsible for equipment order entry for the Petroleum Division, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and delivered promptly.

You will convert customer orders into sales orders using Infor CSD, review order confirmations for accuracy, monitor progress, and collaborate with our outside salesman to provide outstanding service to customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in sales coordination or similar role.
• Excellent ability to engage and communicate with customers and vendors.
• Strong math, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic internet research.
• Ability to work autonomously, and as a team; self-motivated.
• Reliable and dependable with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve order confirmations to guarantee accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Proactively monitor orders, ensuring on-time delivery and addressing any issues promptly.
• Assist in resolving vendor invoice discrepancies, collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with our outside salesman to meet the highest standards of customer service
• Foster professional and positive communication with employees, customers, and vendors, contributing to strong and lasting business relationships.
