Job summary

Johnson Brothers in Mansfield/Midlothian is seeking a Sales Consultant in Training to support accounts, stock shelves, build displays, and follow up deliveries by our drivers. You will develop relationships with customers, service retailers, and work toward sales objectives while upholding Johnson Brothers' values and delivering superb customer service.

Local candidates preferred; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts
• Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts
• Fills shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
• Communicates with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer's preferences, out of stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns/situations encountered during business hours.
• Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, have excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude.
• Perform other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Job Description

This Sales Consultant in Training position supports, services, and maintains accounts. This position is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers and building displays. In addition, this position will follow up after the deliveries are made by our drivers and service shelves from the liquor department storage areas. Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.

Territory: Mansfield/Midlothian

Job Responsibilities

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts

Job Requirements

• Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus.
• Goal and results oriented.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• Competitive, self-motivated and customer service orientated.
• Professional written and oral communication skills a must.
• Have reliable transportation with valid insurance.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
