Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Sales Consultant to manage a Rhode Island territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales of wine, spirits, and beer. The role includes in-store tastings and merchandising, with emphasis on shelf placement, cold boxes, and inventory accuracy.

The candidate should have a BA/BS or related industry experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. Local candidates only; relocation not offered.

• Prior route sales experience is highly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: ensure consistent customer contact and planning of sales initiatives.
• Selling: understand products/pricing and deliver effective presentations to achieve objectives.
• Merchandising: use POS materials and optimize display size, shelf position and cold boxes.
• Servicing: handle sales calls, inventory checks, and minimize order mistakes.
• Administration: adhere to company policies and timely handle paperwork.

Johnson Brothers has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.Sales Consultants are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts.
