Job summary

Walker Automotive in Louisiana is hiring Sales Consultants to join our team. We provide continuous online and hands-on training, a supportive culture, and opportunities for advancement as you help customers select vehicles.

You will build relationships, become a vehicle expert, perform demonstrations, and follow up with buyers. Previous dealership experience isn't required; commission-based pay rewards a high-energy, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience is not required, but a plus.
• Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales.
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & pricing negotiations.
• Have quality customer service skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life by asking questions and listening to responses.
• Be the vehicle expert with knowledge of product offerings, packages & technology.
• Demonstrate new/used vehicles professionally and with high quality.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.

• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
