Walker Automotive is seeking a Sales Consultant for our Alexandria location. You will build relationships with customers, guide them to select vehicles, and demonstrate features with professionalism. Training is provided online and hands-on, with a supportive team culture and opportunities for advancement.

The role emphasizes commissions, energetic customer interaction, and strong communication. A clean driver’s license and drug screening are required, with benefits and growth potential included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a car dealership is not required but is a plus.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license
• Willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment
• Compensation is commission-based
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outgoing with a friendly personality and strong objection-handling abilities

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in's & the out's of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your 'A game' & a positive attitude with you every day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous dealership experience is not required, but a plus!
• Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Have quality customer service skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license
