Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst focused on financial modelling and planning. You will design and run models that govern incentive spend, forecast accruals, and provide predictive analytics to align compensation with financial targets.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with Power BI. This remote position supports global sales planning from a US base.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in financial modelling, quantitative compensation analysis, corporate FP&A, or incentive strategy within a multinational organisation.
• Advanced financial modelling: nested logic models, dynamic arrays, Monte Carlo or multi-variable simulations.
• Proficiency in Python or Alteryx for data manipulation and modelling; strong SQL across large datasets.
• Power BI development with DAX and star-schema architectures for executive reporting.
• Ability to translate modelling outputs into clear, structured recommendations for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and run dynamic forecasting models to simulate incentive spend and forecast accruals.
• Perform stress-testing and sensitivity analyses on compensation structures to identify risk.
• Design plan effectiveness metrics and evaluate ROI of incentive programs.
• Develop automated Power BI dashboards tracking compensation metrics for executives.
• Create reusable scenario calculators using Python, SQL, and Alteryx for rapid planning.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture to automate data ingestion for modelling outputs.
