S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst – Financial Modelling And Planning in the United States. Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial modelling, quantitative compensation analysis, corporate FP&A, or incentive strategy within a multinational organisation.
• Advanced financial modelling with nested logic, dynamic array models, and Monte Carlo or multi-variable simulations.
• Coding and automation using Python (Pandas/NumPy) or Alteryx; strong SQL across large datasets.
• Power BI development for executive-level reporting with advanced DAX and star-schema.
• Ability to communicate modelling outputs and recommendations to senior Finance and Commercial executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and run dynamic forecasting models using Python and Excel to simulate compensation expenses and forecast accruals.
• Perform stress-testing and sensitivity analyses on compensation structures to identify risk and plan distortions.
• Develop plan effectiveness metrics linking expense to profitability and ACV, including SPIFFs and multi-year multipliers.
• Create Power BI dashboards tracking compensation metrics and translate outputs into executive presentations.
• Develop script-based scenario calculators with Python, SQL, and Alteryx for mid-year plan adjustments.
