Job summary

Scribe is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to own and automate our monthly and quarterly compensation calculations. You will manage plan design, modeling accelerators, and reporting across multiple plans, working closely with Finance and the CRO. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, reporting to GTM Operations.

You will take over the existing calculation pipeline within 90 days, scale automation, and ensure timely, accurate compensation cycles for a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running a recurring, deadline-driven compensation process.
• Ability to build and maintain calculation models.
• Comfort negotiating with reps over commission numbers.
• Experience with accelerators, multipliers, and SPIFFs.
• Ability to absorb and take over an existing live system.

Responsibilities

• Run quarterly commission calculations across all plans.
• Own the monthly close: lock the model and submit to Finance.
• Lead clawback and addback reviews with Accounting.
• Scale the calculation automation to handle headcount growth.
• Partner with Finance and the CRO on comp plan design and accelerators.
• Resolve escalations and disputes with reps.
• Own attainment and quota reporting.
