Job summary

Postman in San Francisco seeks a highly analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to own administration and reconciliation of our sales incentive programs. You will be the engine behind commission cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely payments for all employees on variable pay.

You will bridge CRM data and payroll, audit CRM bookings against commission workbooks, manage lifecycle from data extraction to payroll delivery, and partner with Finance and Sales to improve data integrity and process

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Sales Compensation, Finance, or Sales Operations.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and data cleaning.
• Experience with Salesforce, Everstage or similar CRM/compensation tools.
• Ability to maintain 100% accuracy with confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Monthly audit of CRM bookings vs commission records to verify values.
• Manage end-to-end commission lifecycle from data extraction to payroll.
• Resolve employee payout inquiries and disputes.
• Conduct regular CRM data hygiene checks on opportunity stages and ownership.
• Maintain quota assignments, territory mappings, and rate tables.
• Deliver monthly performance summaries to sales leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation to reduce errors.
