Business Development & Client Relations Manager

Position Title: Business Development & Client Relations Manager

Department: Strategic Partnerships

Location: Remote with travel to conferences and client sites

Reports To: Director of Strategic Partnerships

Position Type: Fractional.

Position Summary

LTHCareline is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Business Development & Client Relations Manager to lead client engagement and strategic outreach efforts, with a particular focus on promoting the Platinum Line telehealth platform. This role will involve spearheading new business initiatives, nurturing long-term relationships with skilled nursing facilities and long-term care stakeholders, and executing high-impact presentations at industry events such as NADONA.

The successful candidate will be a relationship builder with a proven track record in healthcare sales, partnerships, or client engagement—ideally within the long-term or post-acute care sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and cultivate new client opportunities, focusing on post-acute and long-term care facilities nationwide.
  • Develop sales pipelines and monitor lead conversion, particularly following major sales events and conferences
  • Represent LTHC Careline and the Platinum Line platform at trade shows, conferences, and industry summits.
  • Create and present tailored proposals, demonstrations, and marketing materials to potential partners.

2. Client Relations & Account Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for potential and existing clients from initial outreach through onboarding.
  • Manage relationships with directors of nursing, administrators, and clinical leadership at client facilities.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and training of client staff on Platinum Line software and service workflows.
  • Ensure regular client feedback is integrated into product development and support cycles.

3. Strategic Communication & Presentation

  • Lead or support live and virtual demonstrations of the Platinum Line software, including use case scenarios, EMR integration, and patient care benefits.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and technical teams to refine demo scripts, slide decks, and promotional content.
  • Capture and synthesize insights from conferences and client meetings into actionable intelligence for internal teams.

4. Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with logistics coordinators and the marketing team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of branded materials and equipment.
  • Track follow-ups post-events using CRM systems and report weekly progress to the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
  • Assist in compiling after-action reports, ROI evaluations, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare business development, account management, or SaaS sales.
  • Knowledge of post-acute care environments and EMR platforms (especially PointClickCare) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for conferences and client visits.

Proposed Scope of Work

  • Collaborate with the Trade Show team to finalize demo workflows and logistics.
  • Build a prospect list of target attendees (nursing leaders, administrators) from the NADONA delegate directory.
  • Conduct outreach via email and phone to schedule on-site discussions at the event.
  • Attend trade conferencesi as part of the LTHC Careline delegation.
  • Assist with booth setup, collateral deployment, and live telehealth demonstrations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for business development inquiries and prospect engagement at events
  • Ensure collection of prospect information and proper handoff to CRM for lead nurturing.
  • Organize debriefs and contribute to the after-action report with qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Initiate follow-up communications with potential leads; schedule meetings and virtual demos.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and advance leads through the sales funnel.
  • Coordinate with clinical and IT teams to align onboarding and support processes for new clients.

Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Support roadmap development by gathering and relaying client feature requests.
  • Maintain a presence at additional strategic events and regional showcases of LTHCareline services.
  • Continuously update promotional and demo materials in coordination with the product and marketing teams.
