VRF National Accounts Manager - Northeast

This is a virtual/remote position. High consideration given to applicants residing in or within Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, DC or Baltimore Areas.

What You Will Do

The National VRF Account Manager is responsible for all aspects and daily functions of their respective region’s VRF activities. This position supports the vital business and product metrics required to meet the company goals and objectives. The position will develop a team in areas of development which include but are not limited to sales, training, marketing, and application support.

How You Will Do It
  1. Hires, trains, and supervises sales support team.
  2. Provides sales management and marketing for local sales channels.
  3. Develops annual department budget and ensures delivery within budget and time.
  4. Develops and manages relationships with sales channels and enhances their VRF knowledge and focus.
  5. Assists in driving the specification in the local market.
  6. Ensures all project information is inputted and regularly updated in CRM.
  7. Responsible for regular updates of sales pipeline management.
  8. Develops joint action plans with branches, representatives, and distributors for VRF growth.
  9. Acts as an extension to the training department to train staff and sales channels.
  10. Develops and recommends product positioning and pricing strategies.
  11. Prepares activity analysis for management and plans to overcome obstacles.
  12. Establishes and maintains relationships with influencers and strategic partners.
  13. Coordinates all local VRF-related events including trade shows and seminars.
  14. Travel 25-30% throughout region.
Required

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
  • 5+ years HVAC or industrial experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience selling VRF.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding social skills.
  • Ability to handle multi-task projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Ability to travel within the region (PA, DC, MD, IN, MI, LA, NC, SC).
Preferred
  • MA/MS degree.
  • Engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • 10+ years’ experience in VRF, HVAC sales, or industrial fields.
  • Technical experience with BMS/BAS, Chillers, Applied HVAC.
  • Professional Engineer certification.
  • LEED AP and CEM accreditation a plus.
