Navy Exchange Service Command in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Sales Associate for a part-time schedule to support military patrons and their families. The role involves engaging customers, guiding them to merchandise, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

As a Sales Associate, you will use a POS system to handle cash transactions, discounts, and gift cards while delivering premier customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers’ needs.
• Directing customers to merchandise; informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions all while providing premier customer service.
• Maintains store appearance.
• Using a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer.
