Job summary

Expert Institute seeks an Associate, Sales (Internal Applicants Only) in New York to drive outbound prospecting and close trial accounts, advancing through a defined path toward Sales Director. You will own the full sales cycle from first touch to close and manage a healthy pipeline in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated hunter who can work remotely, collaborate across teams, and consistently meet KPIs to qualify for promotion to a higher sales role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced transactional sales organization, ideally as a top performing SDR/BDR, or SMB AE.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead client meetings confidently.
• A true hunter mentality: proactively books own meetings rather than relying solely on inbound leads.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting strategies to identify and engage new legal firm leads, including cold calling and self-sourcing meetings.
• Manage and close inbound leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Own a full-cycle, transactional sales process from first touch to close and drive trial starts toward platform adoption.
