Job summary

Springfield Scheels is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the sales process while promoting Scheels Visa and ancillary products. You will contribute to a high-energy, team-driven environment with a strong emphasis on service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on the sales floor with genuine courtesy and a smile.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and guiding them through the sale.
• Grow personal sales by meeting set goals and following Scheels' sales standards.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on products the customer is purchasing.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and support with freight processing and inventory restocking.
• Attend product training and store meetings; assist in training new associates.
• Navigate a computer and handheld inventory scanner (AS400, MS Office, Google Docs).
• Assist in other duties as assigned by leadership.
