Job summary

Mega Saver is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an upscale guest experience, operate registers, stock shelves, and keep the store looking its best. You will engage customers with friendly greetings, promote the loyalty card and app, and participate in upselling to maximize daily sales.

You will handle payments, follow legal guidelines for restricted sales, and help maintain a clean, organized shopping environment. A team-oriented, flexible mindset is essential for this role.

• Follow guidelines for restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and facilities.
• Assist with inventory by stocking shelves and replenishment.

What You'll Do As a Sales Associate

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like “Welcome to Mega Saver” and “Absolutely”
• Actively promote Mega Saver’s Loyalty Card and App to every customer.
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling.
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment.
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train
