Mega Saver in Adel, IA is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an upscale guest experience at the register and on the floor. You will upsell, promote the loyalty program, and help manage inventory while upholding store standards.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and capable of standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. You will be part of a team that values customer service, accuracy, and cross-training opportunities, with daily responsibilities across sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like "Welcome to Mega Saver" and "Absolutely"
• Actively promote Mega Saver's Loyalty Card and App to every customer
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train
