Job summary

Mega Saver in Okoboji, IA is seeking a Sales Associate to create an upscale guest experience, operate the register, upsell and keep shelves stocked while maintaining a welcoming store appearance.

You will promote the Loyalty Card and App, handle multiple payment types, ensure compliance with alcohol/tobacco rules, and participate in inventory tasks and cross-training with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like "Welcome to Mega Saver" and "Absolutely"
• Actively promote Mega Saver's Loyalty Card and App to every customer
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train
