Job summary

Mega Saver is seeking a Sales Associate to create an Upscale experience for every guest. You’ll operate the register, stock shelves, upsell, and keep the store looking its best, delivering a friendly and welcoming vibe each day.

You will engage customers, promote the loyalty card and app, and work with the team to stock, restock, and maintain a clean sales floor, while following all guidelines and ensuring a smooth checkout flow.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like “Welcome to Mega Saver” and “Absolutely”
• Actively promote Mega Saver’s Loyalty Card and App to every customer.
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling.
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment.
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train
