Job summary

Scandinavian Designs is seeking a Sales Associate at our Bend, OR showroom. This full-time role offers a base hourly wage with uncapped commissions and a plan for growth through training, product knowledge, and strong customer engagement.

You will support customers, process transactions, and coordinate deliveries while helping maintain a welcoming showroom. Ideal candidates bring 6 months to 2+ years in sales or retail and enjoy a dynamic, family-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2+ years of sales, retail, or customer service experience encouraged.
• Excellent communication and professional sales presentation skills.
• Available to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, kneel, and use hand tools for assemblies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; interior design/consulting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a consultative approach.
• Maximize sales growth in a commission-based environment.
• Process sales transactions, schedule deliveries, and handle after-sale service.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming showroom.
• Become an expert in our products through a 3-month training.
• Assist with store opening/closing procedures and support warehouse/delivery teams.
