Job summary

Confidential, a contemporary knitwear brand based in New York, is seeking a hands-on coordinator to drive our NY territory business alongside the Sales & Marketing Manager. You will manage showroom operations, order processing, and market appointments to support wholesale growth.

This role offers exposure to showrooms, trade shows, and client relations, with opportunities to advance in a fast-paced fashion environment. Strong Excel skills and experience with JOOR/Mailchimp are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Relevant internship or entry‑level experience in fashion wholesale, showroom operations, retail, or customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Working knowledge of JOOR, Mailchimp, and Adobe Photoshop is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and client‑facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule market appointments, input and process purchase orders, handle in‑season re‑orders, and maintain daily account communication.
• Showroom presentation: keep market-ready, manage sample tracking, prep seasonal sample sales, and pull pieces for editorial/press requests.
• Assist in showroom presentations, support off‑site appointments, and travel to key regional accounts and trade shows.
• Conduct basic financial and credit checks prior to shipping, coordinate swaps/returns, and resolve client order inquiries promptly.
• Prospect, research, and outreach to new retail partners, specialty stores, and growth opportunities across the territory.
• Assist with brand research, digital initiatives, and promotional outreach.

Based in New York, we design refined collections for the modern wardrobe while partnering with leading wholesale stockists and specialty boutiques. Working directly alongside our Sales & Marketing Manager, you will play a hands‑on role in driving our NY territory business forward. This position offers a direct look into the inner workings of wholesale fashion, showroom operations, and commercial brand expansion.

What You’ll Do

• Account Administration: Schedule market appointments, input and process purchase orders, handle in‑season re‑orders, and maintain daily account communication.
• Showroom & Sample Operations: Keep the showroom presentation market‑ready, manage sample tracking, prep seasonal sample sales, and pull pieces for editorial and press requests.
• Market Week & Trade Shows: Assist in showroom presentations, support off‑site appointments, and travel to key regional accounts and trade shows (including booth prep, setup, and breakdown).
• Order Logistics & Service: Conduct basic financial and credit checks prior to shipping, coordinate swaps and returns, and resolve client order inquiries promptly.
• Market Expansion: Prospect, research, and outreach to new retail partners, specialty stores, and growth opportunities across the territory.
• Marketing Support: Assist with brand research, digital initiatives, and promotional outreach.

• Execution & Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively during fast‑paced market weeks.
• Client‑Facing Presence: Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Initiative: Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently, and driven by an entrepreneurial mindset.

Salary: $50K+
