Job summary

Heritage Tree Care in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced Sales Arborist to nurture established client relationships and win new business. You will meet residential, commercial and professional clients, assess tree-care needs, and prepare proposals.

The role requires ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain certification, strong communication, estimating or sales experience, and a valid driver's license.

Job description

Heritage Tree Care is hiring an experienced tree-care professional with strong arboricultural knowledge, client-service skills, organization and sales ability.

This is not a cold-calling position. The Sales Arborist will inherit established client relationships and receive qualified opportunities generated by Heritage Tree Care.

Responsibilities include meeting with residential, commercial and professional clients, evaluating tree-care needs, recommending appropriate services, preparing proposals, following up with clients, coordinating with production teams, maintaining client and project records, and providing arboricultural consulting when appropriately credentialed.

Required qualifications include professional arboriculture or tree-care experience, hands-on knowledge of pruning, removal and tree health, direct client experience, experience estimating, selling or managing tree-care projects, strong written and verbal communication skills, a valid driver's license, and an ISA Certified Arborist credential or the willingness and ability to obtain certification.

The normal schedule is Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with flexibility for client appointments and project needs. Sales Arborists should generally remain available by phone through 5:00 PM.
