We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Arborist to join our team. The Sales Arborist will play a key role in driving business growth through exceptional client relationship management, comprehensive site assessments, and expert recommendations for tree care solutions. This position combines technical arboriculture expertise with strong sales and business development skills.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Serve as the primary contact for all client inquiries related to tree care services.
- Sales and Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and community engagement.
- Site Assessments: Conduct thorough on-site evaluations to identify tree care needs, diagnose potential issues, and recommend appropriate services.
- Proposal Creation: Develop and present compelling, tailored proposals and bids that address client requirements and project specifications.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of tree care projects, meeting client expectations and timelines.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and project progress within the company’s CRM system.
- Upselling Services: Identify and recommend additional tree care services to enhance client satisfaction and maximize revenue.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field highly preferred.
- ISA Certified Arborist certification is required.
- Proven track record of success in sales in the tree/landscape industry.
- Strong knowledge of arboriculture practices, tree care techniques, and tree species.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
