Job summary

SPIROL seeks a Sales Application Engineer/Specialist to join the Danielson, CT team. This role is 100% on site and focuses on identifying new customers through technical solution selling and strategic engagement.

The successful candidate will have a engineering or business degree with technical aptitude, 5–7 years in sales, and a willingness to travel as required to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Business/Marketing degree with strong technical aptitude.
• 5–7 years of sales or business development experience in solution sales.
• Ability and desire to travel based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Use your technical aptitude and solution selling skills to identify and engage with new customers.
• Create and execute strategies to penetrate target companies with specific product groups.
• Develop SPIROL advocates and build meaningful relationships with them; and
• Tactfully overcome barriers to success and demonstrate the benefits of doing business with SPIROL.

As a Sales Application Engineer / Specialist, You Will

• Use your strong technical aptitude and solution selling skills to identify and engage with new customers;
• Create and execute strategies to penetrate target companies with specific product groups;
• Develop SPIROL advocates and build meaningful relationships with them; and
• Tactfully overcome barriers to success with tenacity, and demonstrate to the customer the benefits of doing business with SPIROL.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Engineering or Business/Marketing degree with strong technical aptitude
• 5-7 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in solution sales of direct materials or products into engineered assemblies and applications
• Ability and desire to travel based on business needs and sales objectives
