Job summary

Daikin Applied in New York City is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to support sales representatives with special applications, systems, and pricing. You will stay informed on new products and competitive models, and you may contribute technical literature and training to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities include communicating product modifications to meet customer needs, assisting with quotations, and participating in product training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in a related technical, engineering, or applications support role.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to support customer, sales or product initiatives.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and accurate support for sales representative inquiries related to special applications, systems, and pricing.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a related technical, engineering, applications support, or similar role preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge and training to support customer, sales, or product-related initiatives.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $89,000.00 - 149,200.00 USD Annual Annual in New York and New Jersey. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
