Hertz Local Edition in Los Angeles is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist to serve Lyft and Uber drivers, acting as brand ambassador and delivering fast, valued rental experiences.

You will facilitate reservations, process rentals, prep vehicles, and handle post-rental inquiries with a focus on customer satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Job description

Sales and Service Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Mobility Specialist will be facilitating the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers.

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience.
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers.
• Assist customers with various post rental inquiries that involve the rental and billing process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, while providing helpful customer service that enhances the customer’s rental experience.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental car extensions, roadside assistance questions and more.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities with customers by actively soliciting business after customer inquiry by overcoming customer objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, including checking vehicles for damage, cleaning interior (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc.) and exterior (wash) of vehicle, filling gasoline tanks and checking fill levels of all fluids.

What You’ll Get:

• Hourly Rate / Wage is $18.50.
• Bonus: Eligible, Up to $2400 annually.
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime).
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay).
• Sick Pay: Granted Up to 40 hours.
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays).
