Opportunity: Sales and Catering Coordinator

This role involves performing administrative functions to support the property sales and catering team, ensuring timely and accurate service to internal departments and external customers.

Essential Job Functions

1. Promptly answer telephone calls and communicate relevant account information to managers and departments.
2. Type and process correspondence, proposals, banquet event orders, and contracts as directed by management.
3. Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests, amenities, and other communications related to sales and catering to relevant departments.
4. Act as a liaison between Sales/Catering Directors and Managers and other departments to communicate information needed for upcoming events, including distribution of BEOs, resumes, and changes.
5. Communicate professionally with clients and respond to inquiries.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
7. Maintain organized filing systems for contracts and correspondence, ensuring records are up-to-date and in accordance with standards.
8. Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting spaces, and banquet spaces as needed.
9. Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Previous hotel sales or catering experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule may vary and include occasional holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Requires sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 10 pounds, bending, reaching, and operating a keyboard.
