Job Summary

Assist Convention Service Manager and Sales Managers with banquet event orders, site tours, group billing, event diagramming, BEO meetings, forecast reports, and other tasks as assigned.

Physical Abilities
  • Constant standing/walking, including walking up to 3 miles daily
  • Occasional crouching, lifting, twisting, grasping, and handling
  • Constant talking/hearing; frequent near vision
Working Environment

Indoor hotel areas and exterior with weather exposure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with BEOs, event diagramming, entering actuals, inquiries, guarantees, and menu entries
  • Print and review sales bills, assist with small meetings and in-house events
  • Conduct tours, prepare group resumes, and assist with trade shows
  • Handle calls, inquiries, and follow-up on catering events
  • Obtain and deliver guarantees to kitchen and departments
Qualifications
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Prior administrative, sales, hospitality, or comparable experience required
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Good communication skills; professional appearance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
