Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. You will report to the OpCo Sales Director and support strategic relationships with Sales Account Managers and other department heads.

Your role centers on data-driven insights and reporting to drive revenue growth. You will analyze sales trends, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and opportunities while supporting international order processing and pricing

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant sales and/or financial analysis experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with an ability to manipulate raw data through formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including mail merges and formatting.

Responsibilities

• Daily execution of analysis and opportunities to maximize sales and GP.
• Process new accounts.
• Responsible for IT Charges and Inventory.
• Aid the SSM in preparing presentations, reports, and communications as needed.
• Prepare periodic sales reports as requested by management.
• Assess and maintain profiles, charge discounts, and technology fees to optimize pricing strategies.
• Engage with international customers, processing orders, maintaining price lists, completing paperwork, and following up with purchasing for necessary documentation.
• Utilize Power BI for strategic pricing analysis.
• Prepare key monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting, variance, and trending analyses.
• Review sales performance reports, identify and investigate variances.
• Identify gaps to the plan by sales ledger and commodity.
• Evaluates current processes and makes recommendations for future state and continuous improvement.
• Provide light technical support and device management for new and existing sales associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
