Job summary

Fin in San Francisco is hiring a Sales Analytics Analyst to join our Sales Operations and GTM Analytics team. You will build data models, dashboards, and compensation reporting to help leadership measure rep performance and drive smarter decisions.

Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented, with SQL and Excel skills, familiarity with BI tools, and a collaborative mindset. This is a hybrid Bay Area role with growth opportunities and exposure to AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales analytics, sales operations, business analytics, finance, data analysis, or a related field.
• A technical or quantitative background and an interest in working with data, systems, and business processes.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills and data validation across multiple sources.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain foundational sales analytics data models with Data Engineering.
• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards for sales metrics, attainment, and performance.
• Develop and support sales compensation models and related reporting.
• Translate compensation plans and metric definitions into reliable outputs.
• Analyze sales trends and data-quality issues to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
