Job summary

AAA Western and Central New York is seeking a data analytics professional to support the sales organization with data-driven insights. You will collect, clean, and analyze sales data from CRM, ERP, and BI tools to drive KPI reporting.

You will forecast performance, provide strategic recommendations, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, and help optimize campaigns and pricing while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Experience in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).

Responsibilities

• 40% Sales data analysis and reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from CRM, ERP, Power BI, and other sources. Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity.
• 15% Forecasting and performance modeling: Assist in developing sales forecasts using historical data and predictive models. Support performance tracking and branch/channel planning.
• 15% Strategic insights and recommendations: Present findings to sales analytics team using clear visualizations and narratives. Recommend strategies to improve sales processes, pricing, and customer targeting.
• 10% Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align data and goals. Ensure data integrity across systems and teams.
• 10% Campaign and promotion effectiveness analysis: Evaluate the ROI of sales campaigns and promotions. Analyze customer behavior and buying patterns.
• 10% Data management and administrative support: Assist with data entry, data validation, and routine data maintenance activities.
