Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, CS, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and ability to create clear visualizations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, and SQL.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy.
• Successful clearance of drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Process Improvement: Assist with building and maintenance of queries, reports, dashboards, and models.
• Dive into data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and evaluate automated processes and workflows; suggest, design, and implement improvements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or inefficiencies.
• Use statistical techniques to support forecasting and budgeting.
• Support implementation of automation scripts or workflow improvements.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide input toward dashboards and reports in Power BI that support accounting processes.
• Assist in visualizing KPIs, variances, and metrics for management review.
• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather financial data from internal and external sources.
• Clean and organize datasets for analysis.
