Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Analyst – Sales Operations in Illinois to manage large sales and performance datasets across Sourcing, Catalog, Supplier, Inventory and Project Management. You will provide analytical support to sales leaders within the assigned Business Unit(s).

Responsibilities include forecasting trends, building interactive reports, gathering requirements, and publishing sales performance data. Strong Excel skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of B2B Supply Chain including MRO, Inventory, VMI, Pricing.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills; ability to tell a data story.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data on historical sales and trends to forecast future trends.
• Build reporting on structured data models to derive insights.
• Gather requirements and design performance and forecasting reports for Global Sales teams.
• Publish and maintain information related to historical, current, and future sales performance.
• Develop KPIs and tools to support business goals.
• Collaborate on ad hoc business problem-solving requests.
