Job summary

Cobalt Fashion is seeking a Sales Analyst to support Walmart business through sales analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and reporting. Collaboration with Sales, Production, Logistics, and Design teams will drive in-stock levels and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–4+ years of experience in sales analysis, planning, replenishment, merchandising, or related analytics; Walmart experience preferred.
• Experience with Walmart Retail Link and related Walmart systems highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales, inventory, and replenishment data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large data sets; Power BI/Tableau a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weekly sales, POS, inventory, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create, update, and distribute weekly sales reporting including performance vs plan, budget, and prior periods.
• Prepare weekly/monthly business recaps and provide insights into sales and inventory performance.
• Conduct detailed selling analysis by item, category, size, and color to support decisions.
• Monitor key metrics and highlight significant changes in sales trends and inventory.
• Support markdowns, promotions, re-buys, and other inventory actions through analysis.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting for Sales and Planning leadership.
• Support development of forecasts and seasonal planning.
