Job summary

Guardian is seeking a Sales Analyst, Premier Market to support our Group Benefits sales team in a hybrid Newport Beach, CA work model. You will manage RFPs, help develop quotes, and partner with underwriting and client management to drive new business and profitability.

You will analyze data to recommend competitive benefit options, coordinate with brokers and internal teams, and ensure timely, accurate proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in group insurance, employee benefits, sales support, underwriting support, account management, or related field.
• Knowledge of group insurance products and services.
• Understanding of underwriting principles and rating concepts.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFP inventory, quote development, and new business submission processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of competitive proposals.
• Partner with Sales Representatives, Underwriting, Rating, Client Management, and Onboarding teams to develop winning sales strategies.
• Analyze proposal data and recommend competitive benefit and pricing options that align with customer needs and Guardian profitability objectives.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, producers, and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the sales process.
• Monitor proposal competitiveness, conduct quote follow-up activities, gather market intelligence, and support successful case implementation and onboarding transitions.
