Vacuum Instruments Corporation in Ronkonkoma, NY is hiring for a full-time Customer Service/Order Administrator. The role supports the US, North America and global customers from our corporate offices and requires processing repairs and new orders, invoicing, and shipping documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of customer service experience, strong MS Office skills (Outlook/Excel/Word/Teams/Access), and a self-starting, organized attitude. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Customer Service experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to handle shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for repairs as well as new orders.
• Generate paper orders and file.
• Supply required shipping documentation for orders.
• Perform Customer Order tracking.
• Review and update database of repairs and field service activities.
• Responsible for order invoicing.
• Credit card processing.
• Issue customer quotations for spare parts and repairs.
• Email and phone communication with customers, internal support staff and subsidiaries.
• Provide coverage as necessary to answer incoming customer calls.
• Other clerical duties as required to support our business activities and customer base
