We are a remote-first, distributed workforce of 200+ corporate employees, headquartered in New York. Many roles require travel to engage in-person with our school partners, clinicians, and team members.

About This Role

At Presence, we believe in helping schools provide students with access to necessary specialized services. We seek high-energy, sales-driven professionals to guide prospects to our teletherapy and tele-evaluation solutions. You will serve as the key contact during the initial sales process and help clients find the best solutions for their needs. Candidates should be results-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in selling to large, complex organizations.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Achieve your sales quota and prospecting activity goals.
  2. Engage across the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, consultative selling, presenting, developing proposals, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
  3. Learn about Presence’s services and align them with prospects’ pain points.
  4. Use all sales tools effectively and meet reporting requirements.
  5. Forecast performance accurately.
  6. Coordinate with internal teams to navigate complex sales cycles.
  7. Ensure effective onboarding and long-term success with clients.
  8. Develop post-sale account plans for expansion and referrals.
  9. Travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.

What We're Looking For

  1. Experience in outbound sales activity and pipeline building.
  2. Responsibility for KPIs with a focus on daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  3. Curiosity and willingness to learn all aspects of our services and customer needs.
  4. Operational strength and familiarity with sales tools.
  5. Self-starter with minimal need for daily management, capable of working remotely.
  6. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  7. 3-5 years of experience in EdTech sales.
  8. Bachelor’s degree required.

This role is eligible for Presence’s equity plan, subject to plan terms. Starting pay is based on skills and experience, with a base salary range of $100,000-$110,000 plus commissions.

  • Remote position requiring 50% travel within the US.
  • Applicant must reside in California.
  • Presence is headquartered in New York City; employees must be available on-camera during core hours (12:00 pm-5:00 pm EST, M-F).
