Job summary

NerdsToGo is looking for an IT Service Professional to join our rapidly growing MSP-focused team. You will provide outsourced IT support for small businesses, addressing cyber security, data loss prevention, and Microsoft/Google Suite efficiency, and will act as their remote helpdesk and occasional on-site technician.

You will manage 10+ client needs daily, maintain a high standard of white-glove service, and bring strong Windows and Mac experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience supporting Windows OS (Win 7–11) and Mac hardware.
• Ability to provide patient, clear guidance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outsourced IT for SMBs, focusing on cyber security and data loss prevention.
• Serve as remote helpdesk and occasional on-site technician.
• Utilize Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Maintain quick response and follow-up on complex issues.
• Assist MSP marketing efforts and help secure new clients.
• Daily management of 10+ client requests and issues.

What You’ll Be Doing In This Role

You’ll have an opportunity to join the front lines of a rapidly growing company and be an early critical member of our team. You’ll also be able to impact the history of the company as we embark on a transformative journey with you as a main contributor.

In this role you’ll be a key technician for our MSP (Managed Service Provider) sector of our business. You’ll provide outsourced IT to small businesses focusing on cyber security, data loss prevention, Microsoft/Google Suite efficiency, system monitoring & patching, and more. You’ll also act as their remote helpdesk and occasional on-site technician helping resolve all IT questions and issues.

Critical Responsibilities Include

• Navigate conflict and empathize when a customer is frustrated with their technology
• Maintain a positive professional attitude with all customers at all times
• Provide excellent white glove service with every interaction
• Respond with urgency to needs of our small business clients
• Follow up and follow through with key points and updates when we are resolving a more complex issue
• Act on behalf of the client’s business when troubleshooting third party software issues
• Assist with MSP marketing efforts and secure new clients
• Daily management of 10+ small business client needs
• Office suite; Word, Excel, & PowerPoint & Outlook
• In depth knowledge of Windows OS (Win 7, 8, 10, 11)
• Mac and Apple experience
• Teaching with patience and to those with less knowledge on a complex subject
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
