Job summary

ServiceMaster Building Services in Salem seeks an energetic, detail-oriented professional to grow our commercial cleaning business. This is an independent, customer-facing field role based out of Salem, covering a large service area.

You’ll meet business owners and facility managers, conduct in-person outreach, develop proposals, travel across the territory, and participate in community events. If you enjoy building relationships and driving growth, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Energetic, outgoing, and confident.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional, organized, and goal oriented.
• Willing to travel frequently across a large service territory.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Sales, business development, networking, or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet directly with business owners, property managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers.
• Conduct in-person outreach, prospecting, and follow-up to generate new accounts.
• Cover a vast geographic territory from Salem and grow the business in the area.
• Attend industry, networking, and community events to build relationships and opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally and become an active part of the communities served.
• Conduct property walkthroughs, prepare proposals, and convert prospects to customers.
• Manage your schedule and activities while staying accountable for results.
• Attend weekly team meetings in Clackamas.
