Key Job Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with clients by delivering value through proactive contact via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide a single point of contact that integrates all resources to meet client needs.
  • Answer client questions about existing products and validate investment decisions.
  • Identify new opportunities in partnership with clients.
  • Assist clients with initiating or completing transactions as appropriate.

The base salary for this position is $47,500, with eligibility for variable compensation. Equitable offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. For details, see the Equitable Total Rewards Program.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses (or equivalent), and Life Insurance Licenses.
  • 6-8 years of sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Previous sales, counseling, or entrepreneurial experience.
Skills
  • Cross-Selling: Understanding organizational strategies and techniques to understand customer needs and create additional sales.
  • Effective Communications: Ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and information effectively.
  • Sales Proposals and Presentations: Ability to prepare and deliver formal recommendations.
  • Sales Scoping and Qualification: Ability to identify and qualify potential sales opportunities.
