Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove is seeking a Salad Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients to chef specifications, set up stations for the menu, and assist the executive and sous chefs to ensure timely, consistent service.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service.
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and kitchen.
• Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment.
• Good knowledge of food plating techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work required shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary school degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes.
• Chop and prepare vegetables and other non-meat ingredients.
• Stock ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations.
• Check perishable ingredients and food items for freshness.
• Understand portions when cutting and slicing meat, poultry and seafood.
• Read order tickets and recipes accurately.
• Hand-eye coordination when using kitchen tools and cooking utensils.
• Take daily measures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain a clean station at all times.
