Job summary

Green Top Farms is seeking a Salad Line Attendant to operate the salad bar at a client site in NYC. The role focuses on fast, accurate made-to-order salads and bowls, with attention to freshness, allergens, and guest interaction.

You will work with catering attendants and kitchen staff to keep the line moving during breakfast and lunch, while maintaining clean, labeled stations and safe food handling practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in food prep, salad/cold line, deli, or similar fast-paced food service role.
• Strong hand speed and consistency in portioning and assembly.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly during high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Salad Line Service: build salads and bowls to order per guest specs, maintain fast, accurate order flow.
• Station Setup & Presentation: set up salad bar, label ingredients, maintain temperatures and cleanliness.
• Replenishment & Food Handling: monitor ingredients, restock, portion ingredients, follow FIFO and safety rules.
• Breakdown & Cleaning: break down station, sanitize surfaces, and store/discard ingredients per guidelines.
• Communication & Coordination: coordinate with Dining Lead and back-of-house to ensure smooth service.
