Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver equipment operator certification and safety training across customer sites and branches in Texas. You will publish class schedules, maintain accurate training records, and support sales by promoting safety training opportunities.

The role requires at least 5 years in related field, heavy equipment experience, knowledge of adult learning methods, and proficiency with MS Office and LMS. Travel of 10–15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field.
• Heavy equipment experience and certification (MEWP, Forklift, Earth Moving).
• Experience with adult learning methods and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment operator certification training for customers and employees.
• Publish three-month rolling public training class schedules on the training platform.
• Provide private training sessions at branch locations or customer sites.
• Maintain training records in Sunbelt’s systems and issue wallet cards within 24 hours of class completion.
• Develop and deliver Train the Trainer courses and coach evaluators.
• Promote safety training opportunities to grow the Safety Training business.
