Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager at our Chandler, USA location. The role oversees the delivery of safety training, quality programs, and regulatory compliance, including OSHA training, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop role-specific training and support staff in systems, P&L management, and leadership development. The position requires 2 years in training/warehousing, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience in training and/or warehousing.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehouse terminology and practices.
• Proficient computer knowledge and internet capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with strong people skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training courses required by DSV and clients.
• Develop competency training and provide ongoing support to employees.
• Plan and deliver on-the-job training to improve site performance.
• Ensure training data is entered into the database and audited.
• Lead safety and quality programs and conduct investigations as needed.
• Support continuous improvement, lean projects, and CAPA.
• Maintain OSHA records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety committee and childcare of training materials.
