Job summary

Silgan in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Safety and Training Coordinator to support employee training, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability at our manufacturing facility.

You will develop and monitor safety programs, conduct audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance documentation while partnering with operations, HR, and maintenance to promote a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. Monday–Friday shift, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing and workplace safety.
• Ability to design, develop and implement training programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety and training programs.
• Coordinate online and in-person training and onboarding for new employees.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain injury logs, safety reports, and training records.
