Job summary

Silgan is seeking a Safety and Training Coordinator for our Tolleson, AZ facility to develop and manage training programs, conduct safety audits, and ensure environmental compliance. You will partner with operations, HR, and maintenance to promote a safe and efficient workplace.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to design effective programs, and hands-on experience in manufacturing safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and/or workplace safety is required.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement effective employee training programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor employee training and workplace safety programs.
• Coordinate online and in-person training and assist with onboarding.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and support compliance.
• Track and report safety incidents, lead investigations, and assist with corrective actions.
